Virtual VS Electronic

E-learning comprises all forms of electronically supported learning and teaching. The information and communication systems, whether networked learning or not, serve as specific media to implement the learning process. The term will still most likely be utilized to reference out-of-classroom and in-classroom educational experiences via technology, even as advances continue in regard to devices and curriculum.

Listening to e- learning's capabilities is awesome but a good service always have high payment. The cost of making an institution an electronic institution or campus is very high. An institution has to spend more than its usual cost in order to build an electronic campus. The cost is not only about the price but also the contribution of personal computer. Without a computer, a staff cannot run the e-learning because the main thing is the computer.

Another cost that should be emphasized on is the learning tuition of how to use certain software after they were installed. As for new electronic institution, tuition or seminar is needed to train the staffs to master the system in order to have efficient results.

Scenario
Let's take a look at nowadays education institution, such as Open University, they had implemented the virtual learning in order to  lighten the burden most of its students and staffs. In addition most of the students are under long distance learning course.

As conclusion, Electronic campus is very useful to both students and staffs but there are several major obstacles in pursuing it, the cost will be one of them.
